B&W announces the purchase
of Quick Draw Hitching Systems, renamed
B&W Tow & Stow Receiver Hitch.
Press Release
This is great news for me as I pull trailers
with over 20 different vehicles a year and very few vehicles have the same
hitch height. The Tow & Stow is Class IV rated. 6", 8" and 10" drop models
allow easy height adjustment as well as the ability to tuck the shin knocker
ball under the hitch and away from contact. Also Pintle hitch, camouflage,
and Browning brand heads. I'll have a detailed review later. |
Are you looking for a hitch for your
gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer? Get the one the pro's use. You've
probably heard of B&W and the
quality of the original bed hitch that lets you have the use of the entire
truck bed when you're done pulling your
trailer. Having the hitch disappear when not in use, can also be
used with mini-fifthwheel hitches you RV'rs enjoy. I like
versatility in my truck beds. They have to haul plywood, drywall,
hay, sand, rock, 2x4's etc. and who wants to unbolt and drag the
hitch out of the truck and store it somewhere it won't get stolen or
tripped over. Hitches have come a long way since the plates I use to
weld to the truck frame. That expensive truck should have more than
just one purpose and having a ball or 5th wheel that gets out of the
way easily and quickly is what you want in a Turnover Ball
Hitch. Shown here is the framework that mounts under you truck bed
out of sight, with just the ball sticking up when you need it and
down when your done with it and ready for the plywood or hay or
etc..

The Companion 5th Wheel RV Hitch easily comes apart in two pieces.
It attaches to the square socket used to hold down the ball for
gooseneck trailers. Now you can have both. And still have a truck bed
you can use. |

Look at these jaws below
that lock around your trailer kingpin!

How do you hook up your short bed truck to your gooseneck trailer? Short
beds are increasing their popularity while decreasing their length as with
the 2003 Dodge 2500/3500 standard bed at 6'3" now. You still need the
trailer weight far enough forward from your rear truck axle for steering
control, balance, & efficient, effective brake & spring use. And you can
order here.
