Rocky Mountain Truck Fest at Bandimere Speedway |
It's fun in the sun in the Front Range. Racing,
showing and rock climbing. Bandimere Speedway is the place in
August to be for racing trucks. All trucks, from 10 second quarter mile diesel pickups to Class
eight dump trucks race each other. Or rather their own time as a
bracket race.
 Great balls of fire !
Pyro jet engine powered International Transtar truck with
after burner. A blade came loose in the turbine and the run was
over.
The fire show coming out the stacks was for
show and it was a cool show from

see fire coming out the rear too.
  
Then there was the S-10 with a jet
engine called Jett Lagg. And it did make it down the track like
streak of lightning! With a helicopter engine, the Jett Lagg
accelerates at 4 g's and stops at 6 g's with a parachute.
You can't beat fire, smoke and
trucks. |
